Today's posting about Andy's former student invoked a memory for me. When
we first formed the Opie chapter, a woman attended for awhile who had been
married to Andy's cousin at one time. The main thing she remembered was how
protective Andy's mother was of him and how she never let him get

I was watching Andy on DVD as I went to bed last night
Is there a TAGS episode that has Barney saying there are extenuating
circumstances after he has had too much to drink? This phrase keeps going
through my head and I know I have heard it repeated somewhere on some show. I
just can't remember what show or even if Barney said it.

special guest. Jim Bradley his wife Tiny, visited with us to eat, and watch
three reruns. They are from Durham, NC, but, he was born raised in Goldsboro,

As far as comparing 'Dancing With the Stars' (I don't like the relative term
stars;It should be celebrities.) and Mayberry, I would cite Gomer in 'A
Date for Gomer' and Andy, Helen, Opie and others in 'Look Paw I'm Dancing' as
good examples.
