That is an excellent article, but there's an error in the first photo: a group
of buildings west of 40 acres (in this view, west is up) is incorrectly
identified as Desliu Studios. Desilu Studios was at 846 N Cahuenga in
Hollywood, about 7 miles away.

Yes, Rob Reiner (All in the Family's Meathead) was in the episode
Goober's Contest. He worked in the print shop that printed up the tickets

The studio adjacent to the 40 acres lot WAS in fact one of three Desilu
studios. However, TAGS was not filmed at the one across the street but at the
location Paul described.

Hope this gets through. An Andy Griffith show friend of mine said he was
watching the IN COLOR episode where Goober was trying to raise money in some
type of contest at the filling station while Wally was out of town. There were
