Hey Paul,
I remember that the audio track during the county fair scene (stock
fair/carnival footage) in The Pickle Story was merry-go-round/calliope type
music in the versions that I taped from t.v. (or should I say quote 't.v.'?
haha). Can't seem to remember what is used on the new DVDs
Thanks for marking this anniversary Allan.
I wish we could organize a parade in your honor. (convertibles, potato
queen, squad car, lady fingers, shrimp cocktail..the whole bit).
I wish we could make up a special medal for you..nothing gaudy, just
pure gold and large.
I know there must have
We're having a boiled dinner down at the firehouse next Friday night.? Gonna
raise some money to get Allan a watch with a 17 on the underside.
I vote for the septic tank.

TAGS fans,
Years ago, when the disks came out with the laugh tracks missing I wrote
Paramount and got my free laugh-track editions in short order. After comparing
the two, and after a little getting used to, I think I've decided I prefer
the laugh-track-free versions. Wish you could get all
We have to Manx kittens that my daughter named Aunt Bee and Thelma Lou. It
was going to be Andy and Barney if they were boys. She also named her Beta
after Ernest T. Bass. She said Ernest T. can't throw rocks inside and aquarium
or he want have anywhere to live. Merry Christmas to everyone!
I have a new parakeet to replace Buddy who lived a long and enjoyable life-
my new one is named Barney - both in honor of great jazz guitarist Barney
Kessel and our own Deputy Bernard P. Fife! When he's acting extra sporty and
hopping from perch to perch I call him Big Barn...

Congratulations, Alan, on seventeen years of bringing Mayberry to us! I'll
definitely chip in for the gold watch with the 17 on it, and I have a cake all
baked for you - with jelly beans on the top. I think we should have a
celebration - with dancing and japanese lanterns - and a door prize!
I don't have any pets named after a Mayberry character, but I do have a niece I
nicknamed Otis. When Becky (her real name :) was first learning to walk, I
jokingly said that she walked crooked just like Otis from the Andy Griffith
Show did. She is nearly 18 years old now and I still call her
I had an orange tabby cat, Opie. He joined my household when he was six
weeks old, and he was euthanized last year on October 29, left me after 19
1/2 years. It was quite a change without him, but my outside kitties have
helped immensely, especially Mayberry, my calico with an attitude. :)
No one replaced Andy.?
?-? Sheriff Taylor was still in Mayberry for the first half of RFD season 1.
?-? In the first episode of season 2, Andy's Baby, we learn that Andy and
Helen have moved to Charlotte NC, where Andy is a State Investigator.
?-? Later in season 2, in the episode The Caper, we
I have a Labradoodle and I named her Emma, (after that famous pie maker and jay
walker)
and I had a black lab called Otis (the old dipsy-doodaler) He was the smartest
dog I ever had.
