So come on folks,
hare with us which character in Mayberry you would most want to be if you
ad the opportunity?
Maybe Dave Brown, Opie's hobo friend. He didn't seem to have a care in the
world..Of course, I wouldn't want to have to keep finding my dinner like
he did.

I would like to be Miss ElliePh.G. The Pharmacy Gal! I've always had

really admired Ellie's independence and self-sufficiency...she was never
afraid to speak her mind to Andy or anyone else. And back in the day, all

Say Brian, you say your wife wants to be Ellen Brown, the lady manicurist.
That should make your choice a cinch. You should want to be Ellen Brown's
fiancée. Just think, you could just sit next to her the rest of your life
and breathe to smell that wonderful perfume. And you would get free
Ken, I think Gomer would be my choice...simple minded and just as nice a

Hey to all,
If I could be any character in Mayberry, I'd have to choose Sarah. She has
her ear (and nose) to everything going on in our favorite town. Call me a
nosy poker if you like, but I'm that way, my mother was that way too. We
always like to keep our finger on the pulse of what's happening!

I'd like to be the lady lawyer, always working from the side of the pool in my

I wanted to submit a trivia question that had me thinking (yes with my

What actor/actress played the most different characters both credited and
uncredited on TAGS.
This is with the exception of Tom Jacobs who appeared in just about every

I was watching Young Frankenstein last night, and in the scene where Igor goes
to get a brain from the Brain Depositary, I noticed that one of the brains was
labelled Charles Opie, Missionary.
Naturally the name Opie caught my eye, so I did a bit of research. It seems

Saturday I was on the receiving end of a surprise birthday party.I received
several nice gifts,
but my favorite was the Hallmark old style tv with the TAGS opening footage
on the screen.
I'm sure this would be a terrific Christmas gift for someone's darling person.
