I was watching the episode in the 8th season where Andy opens a laundromat and noticed something for the first time. When Andy was was talking to the State Police and State Investigator about his reasons for opening the business Opie is sitting outside listening. He was able to hear because the courthouse window was up (opened). Maybe I've just never noticed before, I seem to remember that the courthouse windows were one solid sheet of glass in earlier episodes. In this episode there are two small side windows and one large window (the one that was pushed up) in the middle. They were consistent it was that way on both sides of the courthouse doors. Just an observation. Someone else had pointed out that the parking for the sheriffs office was awful close to the fire hydrant. That fire hydrant also came and went. Often in the same episodes.
