Stage actress Peggy Lloyd died at 98 on August 30.
Peggy is the mother of actress Josie Lloyd, a TAGS actress. Josie was Mayor
Pike's daughter in 2 early episodes (Mayberry Goes Hollywood and The Beauty
Pagent), and notably as 'Lydia Crosswaith' in Barney Mends a Broken Heart
and Goober and
Ken's been having a lot of funny driving around with a dummy in the back of his
car, and it reminded me of an old commercial (early 1990s) featuring Barney
Fife (yes, Barney Fife) and the crash-test dummies. Anybody remember this
commercial? It incorporated footage from the episode Lawman
I'm going to wade into the current discussion without hopefully appearing to
take a side. By human nature, we all have preferences of how we want to see
things, like My Church, or My Newspaper, or My local government. To a small
degree we also have an image of what My Digest should look
Thanks Brent!
It would be interesting to know what Josie has been up to lately.

I was sorry to hear about the Aug 30 passing of Peggy Lloyd, mother of TAGS'
own Juanita Pike/Lydia Crossthwaite. I had the privilege of corresponding
with Peggy Lloyd, as well as her husband, actor/director/writer/producer
Norman Lloyd when I sought to have Josie Lloyd autograph my copy of Jim
Hey, Paul, I saw your post about all the fun Ken has been having driving
around with that dummy in the back seat of his squad car. (I can't say this
too loud, I don't want Ken to hear, but I think he's been driving around
with a dummy in the front seat for a long time, too!)

In addition to daughter Josie, Peggy Lloyd is survived by her husband Norman
Lloyd and another child. Norman Lloyd remains a working actor at age 96, and
many know him from his work with Alfred Hitchcock (SABOTEUR, ALFRED
HITCHCOCK PRESENTS) and as 'Dr. Auschlander' on the TV series ST.
Does anybody know where I can purchase CDs of TAGS? I don't have a DVD player
and my tape machine doesn't work any longer, so I would like some CDs to play
my favorite shows. If you do, please let me know. Thanks.

This morning while watching Helen The Authoress, I noticed that when Howard
was speaking to Andy in front of the courthouse, he referred to Helen as Andy's
fiance. Andy did not correct Howard. Was this the first and only time
that Helen was referred to as Andy's fiance? I sure do not
