My son is very found of cornbread, so while on vacation last summer I bought a
cornbread cookbook (The Cornbread Gospels by Crescent Dragonwagon (what a
name!)) In addition to recipes, the book contains a lot of information about
the history of cornbread and its myriad regional variations.
