Just saw on Amazon that the 1977 miniseries Washington: Behind Closed
Doors will make its dvd premiere on June 5. The 3-disc/750-minute
miniseries has a price of $59.99 MSRP.

I have also noticed that Andy and Opie had no bait in the opening of the show.
They could have had some artificial bait in the tackle box, but in all the
other shows they used worms. I believe they also didn't have anything to put
the fish they caught in. In at least one show they used an old

John Ehrlichman, and loosely based on the Nixon administration with a
Watergate-like scandal. Andy plays the former President Esker Scott Anderson

I'll admit I did have to look up on IMDB a couple of the comic Western
sidekicks who've appeared on TAGS, but a couple I already knew (or guessed
and then confirmed). The four I came up with are Andy Clyde, Edgar
Buchanan, Buddy Ebsen, and Dub Taylor.
Not sure about any TV or Movie Mayberry western sidekicks but our own Frank
Myers and Floyd Lawson both were on Old Time Radio westerns.
