David, Very good point on Don Knott's being a dramatic actor playing a
comedian. I have read many reviews raving about Don's stage performance in On
Golden Pond. Doesn't get much more dramatic than that. I remember reading the
same Jack Benny story.

When Andy and Barney went to the hotel to see Tina Andrews, it looks to me
that they come around the corner and go to the same door that the Darlings
had. Since Tina has a suite, that would fit the Darlings since there so
many of them.
And, I seem to remember, this might even be the same room
I do medical transcriptions and today and I had doctor dictating a letter on
a patient named Stoner. He always spells the names for me so I'm sitting
there hearing S-T-O-N-E-R. Couldn't help but get tickled.

While watching season six The return of Barney Fife I got to
wondering.This episode was centered around the class reunion; why was
Thelma Lou invited to this one and not to the first one back during season 2 or
three I'm not sure which.
Also in season six Aunt Bee wins prizes on a game
