i remember my first job. i was 10 years old, and my father asked me if i wantd a suummer job.  it would pay .50 per hour. i jumped at it. i was to work on a chicken farm cleaning out chicken coops.i worked 4 hours 5 days a week all summer. believe me 10.00 a week in 1958 was a lot of money.

My second job was working as a diesel fitter in a woman's undergarment factory. I was on the assembly line. The guy in front of me in line would sew up a pair of undergarments. Then he handed them to me and I would hold them up and say Yep, diesel fitter. I think some of our products ended up
