I belong to a Facebook page where we discuss the history of the county where I
live. There was a comment made about them having to call Sarah to reach their
party. I commented to the guy that he must have some Mayberry blood. He
replied--Doesn't everyone? I replied that I hoped everyone did.
TV Land, this morning, aired episode 104 A Date for Goober. I noticed
for the first time that Helen is wearing a piece of jewelry that looks just
like a silver five pointed badge. I am going to take a screen shot of it
and zoom in to see if that is what it is. If anyone wants to see the

I finally have been able to meet our own Paul Mulik as he and his lovely wife
and daughter are staying at the Taylor Home Inn and they drove down to Eau
Claire to meet with me at a car show. We were able to have a very nice visit
and a bite to eat. I must say Paul is
My wife and daughter and I are enjoying a wonderful stay at the Taylor Home Inn
in Wisconsin this week. Most all of you know about this place, but if you
don't, it is a bed and breakfast that is a replica of the Taylors' house as

Here is a article in the NY times that explains why we enjoy things like

Thanks, Alice, for a most charming vignette! That is exactly how I feel and
often encounter the same warmth when others discover my Mayberry feelings. I
appreciate your sharing this with us.

I might be mistaken, but I don't think so. Rusty Stevens was in the group of
kids who wanted to go fishin' with Opie, but the new kid in town wanted to
swipe apples just for fun.
