I always imagined she was saying Zoweee, like oh boy or yippee. I figure it was the hipster thing to say in Mayberry at the time. Cathy ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/

Not sowee, but Zowee

I think Helen is actually saying Zowee, which is used to signify you are excited about something, but she is saying it really slow and sarcastically, to convey the opposite. Message: 1 Date: Mon, 16 Dec 2013 12:18:40 -0500 From: Harriet Browder h_brow...@hotmail.com To: wbmutbb

Dogs,Dogs, Dogs

While watching the dogs in the jail house, I noticed the big dog with his paws and head inside the bookcase top shelf. The same bookcase that is notorious for getting its glass broken with a broom or a sling shot. Also, in another scene, Andy, Barney and Opie are outside walking to the jail house

I believe the expression was meant to be ZOW EEE.    Could be I'm wrong.    Lucille Richmond (from Connecticut) ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/

I've been wondering about Sarah the operator and who pays her for her services.  Any ideas from anyone? If at first you don't succeed, try and hide your astonishment. ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com
