There are several sources that name Douglas Fowley’s character in “Opie and His Merry Men” as “Weary Willie” or “Wary Willie.” The fact is that the character is unnamed. I believe Barney does say something like “I wonder if Weary Willie is back in town” but that name is not attributed to Fowle
