You never know when a TAGS alumni will show up. While watching an episode of
Gunsmoke (Sweet Billy), I noticed Alice Backes (Widow Olive, the waitress with
four young'uns) again playing the part of a widow.

While watching the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, they were talking about up
coming sporting events on NBC.
The sporting event that caught my ear and eye was the Indy 500. Why is
because they had a photo of Jim Nabors, our on Gomer Pyle, plus I like car
racing.

How many Mayberry characters never had their last names revealed? Right off the
top of my head, and without running this by the boys at the lab, I can think of
two. Though she was known by one of those good-old southern double first names,
Thelma Lou's last name was never mentioned. And I believ
I was watching a Paul Newman movie on TCM the other night that I never
heard of called "The Rack" (1956). During the court martial scene, one of
the first witnesses against Newman's movie character was none other than
James Best (Jim Lindsey), sounding, acting, and looking pretty much like
his TA
