Every time we hit a heat spell I cannot help but think about the people of
Mayberry who always seem to wear long-sleeved shirts and ties and even
suits, even when the weather was very hot.
The one occasion that really comes to mind is when Andy, Aunt Bee, Opie,
and Goober were returning to
WBMUTBB member and "prince of a fellow" Brian Rose has been doing a great
podcast called Mayberry Devotional for the past few months that I would like to
recommend. It is a short, humorous, and well thought out podcast that connects
a TAGS episode to scripture with a nice message.

Two shows have just been announced for Mayberry Days: Karen Knotts' book will
debut and she will have a "Tied Up in Knotts - - Book Talk" event on Thursday
afternoon. Ronnie Schell will be doing a show titled "Andy, Don & Jim - My
Memories of Three Mayberry Legends"
