Betty Lynn will certainly be missed. I got to meet her in 2003 at Mayberry
in the Midwest 2. She was so nice.

A well written article published in the Mount Airy News with many stories about
Betty's life and career. I've got some nice memories of Betty that I will share
in future posts.

I am so saddened to learn of Betty Lynn's passing. I sent her a copy of my
book when it first came out, and she sent me such a nice thank you note.
Later, I received an autographed photo from her. She was such a wonderful
addition to the Mayberry family, the likes of which we shall never see
I agree that it would be harder to bowl with the thumb injury on the dominant
hand, but I believe most bowlers use both hands. The non-dominant hand is
usually used for supporting the ball before it is released. Maybe the injury
threw off his timing or rhythm.
