Gun question

Watched the TAGS episode where Opie is involved in a race and doesn't win. In the beginning of the show Barney fires his pistol (starter pistol) into the jail ceiling accidentally. I wonder if anyone in the mayor's office on the second floor ever got hit by an errant bullet?   Steve B.
