Hey Mayberry friends. For a few weeks I've been talking about visiting Raleigh
with my grandaughter's class.I said I'd like to meet the Governor so I could
shake HIS hand. A trained noticer corrected me by saying we have a lady
governor (Beverly Purdue).They are absolutely right. If I'd had
Larry in Lincolntonif you're from NC you should know when you see the
governor you can not shake his hand. Him is a her..didja forget
Beverly Perdue?
We went to Mt. Airy Thursday...took a couple from our church who had never
been. He is 81 and has health issues, but did pretty good
Last night when Warren shot the crooks' car with the cannon,
bYou'll notice that the stage with the Governor,etc.
Wasn't the Governor of NC the mayor of Rachel Kansas at one time?
Or vice versa???

I always thought it was funny that the governor stopped in Mayberry to
shake Barney's hand and tell
him good job, but He still didn't pay the ticket while he was there.

This morning as I was driving to work, there was a news story on the radio.
Apparantly, a motorcycle traffic cop in Nashville gave the Governor of
Tennessee a parking ticket last night.Hope he doesn't end up gassed when
the governor comes to shake his hand...
