My late husband and I conducted a TAGS bible study some years ago. We covered the subject of lying using the episode where Otis became a deputy to impress his brother. It was surprising how many people said it wasn't lying because Otis really did work as a deputy however temporary it was. I guess there are many different opinions on this subject. I agree, however, that it was for a good cause. Now before I break any of those number laws I'm going to hush.
