Mayberry Days is nearly upon us and I am late in sending out a reminder that our annual WBMUTBB service project is coming up. After 20 silent auctions, we had a successful live auction at the Blackmon Amphitheatre thanks to Eric Lowery's talents and will do that again this year. We have another great line up of donations, including a special "Classic TAGS" Quilt from Pat Coleman.
There will also be a "Scobeys" style Rummage Sale table with donated and duplicate items that need a better home than a box in the Andy Griffith Playhouse. Items will be priced for immediate purchase. Tables should be set up on the side of the stage around 10 a.m. The auction will be held after the parade at the Blackmon Amphitheatre starting at 11 am. Please stop by, get a free bid paddle, and support our chapter's efforts. It is entertaining to watch even if you didn't bid. 100% of the proceeds to go the Surry Arts Council for Mayberry Days.
