Thanks Ladies for the comments on the way the ladies dressed for Garden Club. They were very insightful and good explanations.
Ken, after all that so- so advice for your anniversary, you might want to invest in a bottle of Blue Moonlight. Or go out to a fancy dinner with a violin player. And Don't forget to tip him a quarter. I was just reading Mayberry 101 because I hadn't picked it up in a while, and I was surprised to find out that they had a stunt man for Mr. McBeeVee to do the Pole/Tree climbing up and down. Any other stunt doubles anyone knows about? I assume Bernard "Malcolm Meriweather" rode his own bike. Did Howard "Ernest T do his own Chin-ups" We know that Aunt Bee had a stunt double who pushed Barney's Car and a stunt driver who drove the car when she learned to drive. I believe she also had a hand model when she held the baseball pictures...and a waste model when she revealed the badge in the Christmas episode...but that's a different topic. I'm not sure Barney ever had a stunt Double. How could they find someone with his build? It's a wonder they did not have someone for Floyd after his stroke, but most of his shots were face-on so there may have been no opportunities. What about Goober when we wrestled Clarence Earp? Many dangerous action scenes were implied and we never actually saw. Opie Fighting, Andy Wrangling the Gordon Boys. Barney fell once but we just see him on the ground. We know that Otis did his own falls when he missed the bed, but we didn't see him fall when he sued the county, The Untrained Voice, Looking for a good lip syncing double _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
