Just wanted to say a BIG THANKS for the positive response I got for posting the
Paul Harvey "Rest Of The Story" about Andy on here!!! Really made me feel good
that it was liked!!

While here I might as well post some Mayberry "trival trivality" I saw just an
hour or so ago on TV!!...

Was watching the 1943 Hitchcock movie "Shadow Of a Doubt" (where Joseph Cotton
is an on the loose killer) and two detectives show up to investigat him in the
town he's in...on of 'em was none other than a young Wallace Ford ( "Roger
Hanover", Aunt Bee's beau that was always telling those stale jokes...talked
all the time!! Kind a "pushy sort of fellow...very..pushy")!!

The irony was...they were questioning the one daughter in the family about her
"uncle" (Joseph Cotton).

I bet if Roger had married Aunt Bee...there would have been some investigation
about Andy's "new Uncle"!!!!!

Should also mention that if you see any of the early Universal Mummy pictues
("The Mummy's Tomb".."The Mummy's Hand") ,the "young comical sidekick" to the
main male "good guy" was the same, and VERY young Wallace Ford!!

"....that's goodbye in Spanish...also carobolic acid...that's goodbye in any
language!!.."
