I remember that Walter Baldwin (The Best Years of our Lives, The Lost Weekend)
was the original Floyd the Barber in one episode. I recently did a double-take
when I recognized him in Rosemarys Baby. Hope Summers (Clara) was also in the
movie.

Walter Baldwin did a wonderful job playing Homer's father in the film
The Best Years of Our Lives. Homer is the sailor who lost his hands
in WWII. Mr. Baldwin played a compelling role as his father.

Because I never spoke to him, i kept silent. bUt in 1972 i called Walter
Baldwin the original Floyd Lawson (God forbid) and a woman answered. She
was most uncooperative.

Y'all were talking about Walter Baldwin, the first Floyd (Next!!). Here's
a piece of trivia:
I know I've seen him in some other things, but it's interesting that he had
a prominent role in The Best Years of Our Lives. He played the father of
Homer, one of the lead characters. That movie took
