I don't remember the first time Barney said "Nip it in the Bud" but I do
remember another episode that he mentioned it in. It was the episode "One
Punch Opie" in which Barney is giving Andy this speech in the courthouse about
"First sign of youngsters goin' wrong ya got to nip it in the bud". Hmmm....I
may have to watch all the episodes with Don Knotts just to see how many times
he did say it. :)
