3.2 beer is a low-alcohol beer that, according to Wikipedia, "is beer that contains 3.2% alcohol by weight". Also according to Wikipedia, "The states of Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Utah permit general establishments such as supermarket chains and convenience stores to sell only low-point beer." When I was in college in southwestern Ohio (many, many, many years ago!), only 3.2 beer was allowed to be sold in the bars. It wasn't a state law, just that town's.
