Thank you to everyone who responded with their tips regarding authentic TAGS memorabilia. I had looked on Ebay and a few other sites and had seen autographs for sale--some sellers were honest and said they were copies---other, well...
I knew it was a very, very long shot but when I think of all the dishes used in Aunt Bee's kitchen, (not to mention pickle jars) and tablecloths and books and the million and one other props that must have been used on the show, I wondered if any might ever be for sale. But as a wise responder to my question said, even a certificate of authenticity can be faked. On another note, I saw Aunt Bee on Alfred Hitchcock Presents-Revenge about a week ago. She played a Mrs. Fergusen. And does anyone know of a TAGS chapter in Fayetteville, NC? I love reading all your comments.
