TAGS sighting
My dad and I were sitting in our lounge rockers, waiting for his Christmas roast to finish up, watching an episode of "Laramie" on Grit TV. There was a sheriff heading up a group of deputies to find a killer and thief of $9000 trust money. The sheriff looked familiar and then it hit me. It was none other than Bartlett Robinson who appeared as Mr. Roberts, Otis's attorney in "Otis Sues the County." Kind of a nice Christmas treat. We want to wish all our TAGS friends a very Merry Christmas. I received the book " Andy & Don" this morning as well as the movie, "Murder in Coweta County" with Andy Griffith and Johnny Cash. I have not seen this particular movie, but am looking forward to watching it. I have heard a lot of pros and cons about "Andy & Don" so looking forward to reading it! Has anyone ever noticed that in the scene where Ellie, Opie and Aunt Bee are showing their badges after being deputized, that when Aunt Bee shows hers, it doesn't look like her or the outfit she is wearing? Christmas
This is only the 2nd time I have ever written this post. I read it with much interest everyday. I consider it like family. I hope each and everyone of you had a very Merry Christmas! This was the 2nd Christmas I have spent without my sweet wife. She passed away last year but I still love and miss her very much. Color Episodes
I have never been a devotee of the color episodes.That being said,I watched the Christmas episode & the Pickle episode tonight,both of which were televised in color.I noticed obscure items in the color episodes that I never noticed in B & W. I can honestly say I enjoyed the two episodes.I hope CBS will repeat this next year.
