I have to say I agree 100% with you Laura Lee. Barney was a wonderful

As of right now, from Mt. Airy to Nags Head is an 8 hour trip, plus or minus
a little depending on how many rest stops you make along the way. Back in
the 60s before interstates, the trip from Raleigh was about 5 hours, and at the
time Mt. Airy was about 3 1/2 to 4 hours away from Raleigh,
