Today I was reading a biography of Meredith Willson, the composer of The
Music Man, and I found an interesting bit of trivia that I had previously been
unaware of.In 1935, Willson was hired as the musical director of the radio
show Maxwell House's Good News, and in his position he
Meredith Wilson's song was You and I. And I seem to remember it was sung
at the very end of the episode 249.

Have the Mayberry Days Trivia questions been posted online yet? I know I've
seen them from past years, but I can't remember where I went to get them.
Thanks

Maybe Floyd and Otis never left Cracker Barrel with a to go box, but today
I had to!! I been sick the past ten days, and today I met my cousin from
the hills of Kain-tuck at a Cracker Barrel 20 miles from home, and I just
weren't able to eat 'er all!! So, I got one a' them little plastic
Well, that trivia question regarding the Meredith Willson/TAGS song was a real
head-scratcher!
So, I cheated and looked it up on Wikipedia and the only reference to a #1 song
by Glenn Miller was
a 1941 recording titled You and I - don't remember that one on the show
A nice bonus, though,
The Meredith Wilson song performed by Glenn Miller was, I believe, entitled
You and I. What were the episodes in which it was sung?
Have a good 'un!
