Emmett, I believe I dee-duced the confusion there.  The porch wasn't built 
until after the bandstand collapsed in "Sermon for Today".  They used the 
lumber from the collapsed bandstand to build the porch in "Bargain Day". 
They used Opie's hatchet for the demolition that Mr. McBeevee had given back 
to Opie after clearing up the misunderstanding when Mr. McBeevee came over 
for supper.

Reading through our corporate newsletter, we worked on a transit project in 
Montreal called AZUR.

“AZUR – which means sky blue in French – represents values that we identify 
ourselves with, such as  safety, sustainability and resilience,’’ added Joane 
St-Onge, Canada East transportation lead.

As TAGS fans, we would have already known what it meant (and how to spell it), 
thanks to Floyd's eyes.

I found the clip of Andy's talk with Opie on YouTube and posted to my
Facebook the next day after seeing his press conference clip, seeing how it
was an appropriate lesson, especially for someone who's in a position to be
so influential to young fans. I thought to myself at the time, "someone
who's a TAGS fan will edit that video, using Cam's face." Sure enough, they
did. I think that video has gone "viral" now. If so, perhaps Nurse Peggy or
Nurse Mary has a shot for it.

... they sometimes had an extra to use his or her own vehicle for a scene, and 
I think they received extra pay for that.  This would explain the presence of 
non-Ford vehicles on the set.


Frances Bavier's Studebaker shows up in a couple Mayberry RFD episodes 
(http://www.carlustblog.com/2014/02/aunt-beas-studebaker-.html. By then, they 
were using mostly Chrysler automobiles.
