The scene in the Christmas episode where Opie's hair is full of static has always made me laugh. Opie is also pulling his gloves off by using his teeth just like a little kid. Woohoo Tuttle's is back. JL-327 is the tag number for the squad car. Matthew McConaughey's new commercial for Lincoln does have a reference to TAGS. The theme song for TAGS is playing, plus he is fishing. Ice-fishing, but still fishing. I saw the commercial while watching the Winter Classic, ice-hockey, on New Year's day. At one time they say Andy's favorite dish is leg of lamb. Then in another episode it is fried chicken. Hope everyone had a good holiday. Have a Mayberry kind of day. Dream job indeed! - Where do we all sign up? Watching the Housekeeper this afternoon, which to me would have to be the number one "themed" episode as it sets the stage for the entire series with the introduction of Aunt Bee and how Opie comes to love her in spite of the fact she holds a baseball bat the wrong way and fishes with her pole out of the water. It also introduces (when the airing syndicate will include that clip) Deputy Fife. Happy New Year to all and it better be better than the last one.
