The other day, I was watching an episode of "Perry Mason" from Season 1, and immediately recognized an alumni from Season 1 of TAGS: William Schallert a/k/a "Quiet Sam". In Perry Mason, he played an assistant to a wealthy, nasty guy and he ended up in trouble for being an accomplice to murder - quite a different role from his character in TAGS.
But there was an older woman in the Perry Mason episode. playing a housekeeper to that same rich guy, who looked awfully familiar, so I looked her up. Turns out she was Lillian Bronson, the woman behind the scenes in Season 1's "The Beauty Contest" who Andy ended up giving the crown to at the end. Turns out she was born and raised in Lockport, NY, about 22 miles from where I live.
