Hello all,
While browsing at our local library a few days ago I ran across a set of
audio tapes of classic radio shows. They looked interesting so I checked them
out. One episode of a show called Suspense featured DeForrest Kelly from Star
Trek. While listening to the episode I kept thinking that the voice of the
ventriloquist sounded rather familiar too. Before the show was over I was
certain that the voice belonged to our own Floyd the Barber. Sure enough they
ran through the supporting cast and the familiar voice belonged to Howard. I
beleive that Parley Baer and Lurene Tuttle were also in many radio shows. Also
Sherwood Schwartz was somehow involved in radio during it's heyday. Too bad
bios of these stars do not usually include this piece of history.
  Have a wonderful day
