I remember twice - once when Goober was a houseguest ( amazing that?Aunt Bee
allowed him to keep an ashtray under his bed! )?and once right after Andy
delivered Sam Becker's baby - funny he also commented on how good the air
smelled after the rain.
Barn never lit up - even if he was tempted, he'd never spend the money! Besides
he needs it to keep up his reputation as a big tipper at the diner.

Please have patience with me. Last week I asked a question of all our experts
out there about how many times Andy was seen smoking on the show. Well just
after I sent out the question, I stopped getting the digest. I have now started
getting it again, ( thanks), but unfortunatly I missed all the replies with the
answers! Please repeat those for me if you have the time. This kind of stuff
happens to me all the time...... I wonder what causes that ? Thanks, Butch.

There was a question about how many times Andy lit up
a cigarette and I couldn't say but there is something
I noticed when Andy lit up - there was never any more
than 2 puffs taken when the cigarette was put out.
Guess he didn't have to worry too much about the
hazards of smoking.
