On the Thursday MeTV Perry Mason show, there were a lot of TAGS Alumni.
There is almost for sure one each day, but I do not comment unless I can find
at least three.Today the falsely accused murderer was none other than
Sharon DeSpain.Sitting in the courtroom with her were

there as was Orville Monroe.But the obscure TAGS alumni on this show was
Thomas Browne Henry.I have always enjoyed the acting of
I can’t even begin to tell you how many TAGS characters are on the old Perry
Mason episodes. From Willis Bouchey as a judge to Dabbs Greer yelling “Yes, I
killed him. I killed the big gas bag.”, (The Case of the Prudent Prosecutor).
Aunt Bee has a vital role in The Case of the Crimson Kiss.
It is pretty amazing how many TAGS alumni are in so many classic 1950's and
1960's television shows. The list goes on and onfrom "Perry Mason",
"The Twilight Zone", "Gunsmoke" to comedies like "The Dick Van Dyke Show".
A talented group of actors and actresses.
Today on MeTV several alumni showed up. In the first Gunsmoke William
Schallert and Hope Summers showed up. In the second Gunsmoke Jon Lormer showed
up. In Bonanza Ken Lynch made an appearance. Finally on Wanted Dead or Alive
R. G. Armstrong showed up. Quite the day for TAGS alumni.
First, I saw good ole Uncle Ollie play the Mayor of Bug Tussle on a pretty
funny episode of "The Beverly Hillbillies" - great character.
Then, a little later, on the classic Twilight Zone episode "The Monsters
Are Due on Maple Street", there was Miss Rosemary as one of the panicked
housewives on

On Friday, on Antenna TV, I was watching "That Girl".That Girl, Ann
Marie was going to meet her boyfriend's parents.Turns out that her
boyfriend's parents were played by Mrs. Sprague and Cyrus Tankersly.

On this afternoon's westerns on MeTV I spotted several alumni. In Bonanza
Hubcaps Lesh and Mrs. Otis Campbell showed up. In the two Rifleman episodes
Clara Edwards showed up in one and the State Inspector from the Dogs, Dogs,
Dogs episode showed up in the other.
Today on Wagon Train several alumni appeared. Jean Carson, James Westerfield,
Malcolm Atterbury, and Ken Lynch all appeared. Then on the first Adam-12, Sam
Edwards appeared. Lots of alumni in a short time.

to Oregon who Gomer was helping out.

Saturday afternoon on Turner Classic Movies, they showed the 1975 movie
"Hearts of the West".There were lots of TAGS alumni like Frank Cady, Dub
Taylor, and William Christopher.But the Big Name in the movie was our own
Andy.However be warned if you ever watch this movie, Andy

Saturday morning I was watching "Trackdown" on MeTV.That is a good show
to see TAGS alumni, because Hubcaps Leash is a regular on the show (She
publishes the town newspaper), and so is Norman Levitt (the first Wally).
Anyway, besides those two, there was also Orville Monroe and Naylor
Monday, on MeTV, they started the 30 minute Gunsmoke shows with episode

Today's edition of Perry Mason on MeTV was chock full of TAGS alumni.Ken
Lynch, who appeared on the second episode of TAGS as Cpt. Barker was a bad guy.
Then Vaughn Taylor, who played Frank Chase in the episode where Warren
fires the cannon at the mobile museum, got himself bumped
It would seem that a true "alumni" sighting would refer to someone who
was a regular on the show who appeared on another show. Let's face it,
many of the character actors who appeared on TAGS were on other shows.
You could watch old shows every day and likely see someone who appeared
on TAGS.
Do you think when Gunsmoke fans that watch TAGS say hey, I saw him/her on
Gunsmoke. Does that make the actor a double agent? I guess that's the actor

On MeTV this morning there was a plethora of TAGS alumni. Uncle Ollie
finally got to be in law enforcement, as he was the Sheriff. And there was
the Manicurist whose mother was accused of murder. Turns out though the
real murderer was the low down cow thief, Luke Jensen.Once
This is the weekend for TAGS alumni sightings. Yesterday on the MeTV
episode of Bonanza, old Asa Bascombe appeared as a storekeeper. Then on The
Rifleman, Miss Peggy appeared as a reporter's wife. Today on GRIT TV, the

and Jack Albertson (Aunt Bee's cousin), but "Skippy" (Joyce Jameson) too.
