Versitus

The term is bursitis, and the bursa sac holds lubricating fluid between the
joints. When that fluid sac gets injured or otherwise loses fluid, the joint
won't move as well as it should and is painful.   Google it for complete
information.
Howard's mother suffered with bursitis.

Versitus, what is it?

If Barney had said, it would be a Barneyism. But since Bert Miller said it,
we'll take it as a Berti-ismMade up, for the ailment Bursitus. Bert got it
from ringing too many door bells. Maybe he didn't want it to sound too much
like "Bert"-itus.

Bursitis (bur-SY-tis) is a painful condition that affects the small,
fluid-filled sacs — called bursae (bur-SEE) — that cushion the bones, tendons
and muscles near your joints. Bursitis occurs when bursae become inflamed. The
most common locations for bursitis are in the shoulder, elbow and hip.
