K,
A shot in the dark, but I see the alt parameter has Advanced St. John's
Wart. Does the ' need to be escaped?

There is a way to have multiple IE installations on the same machine. I'm
in training this week so I don't have access to my work machine with the
address for the downloads. The info came from a posting on css-discuss. I
know several other people here also subscribe there and they may have the
Thanks Everyone for the help. I downloaded AdAware and cleaned it up. Uninstalled a
couple of search engine like Clean Search etc. (Which I did not install in the first
place).
Now my browser is clean. Once again thanks for the replies.

Not until recently, that is the only side benefit of the Eolas Patent
decision.
When MS released the testing version that would comply with the Eolas
garbage some enterprising people figured out how to use the modifications
that let you run the regular and testing versions of IE on the same

I would have to find out from the client, but he's been pretty scarce. I
don't know yet who he's hosting with or what services
Sure mail away but I won't be in the office until Monday. I'll get you a
personal address in mid afternoon if that's ok. I'm in a security training
class so I'm a little paranoid about logging onto any mail server. Class
must be having some effects.
I said I couldn't think of an alternative,
That will be just fine. You can e me offlist: [EMAIL PROTECTED] when
you get the personal addy.
LOL ref your last line, sounds so familiar!

Deb,
I'll second Andrews suggestion. That would be the easiest way
that I am aware of to do what you're talking
Hi Stephen,
Thank you, I figured this would be best offlist but if ya'all are willing
to listen to me and help out, I'll glady put it here if it gets that
far. I would love to know how to set up a simple database, have only use
cms's that I just have to actually do the initial setup and
Steven's idea is good, as usual, -- keep the thread live.
So with the additional information you've given, you also want the
capacity to reset the selection process from week to week during the
season. Will you want this for more daily sports like basketball or
basebal? Or is this strictly
That I don't know yet, but now that I know it's needed info, I will ask the
client. Again, he's not been quick in answering so could be
awhile. Started out he wanted this today (asking for it on Tues) but he's
slacked off in responding so everything is on hold. Right now, I'm just
finding

#4 isn't a problem if you go with a database solution. Simply create a field
to hold the initial chooser's primary key, which will also act as a flag
field. If the field is empty, the team is available. If not, it's taken. If
this is to be done weekly, just clear the field every Monday night after
Stephen,
You are so funny! and I love your attitude. I'm glad I asked here and
that you said keep it here. I'm sure I'll find plenty of help if it gets
to that point. For now, I'm going to wait to hear back from the client. No
sense going nuts until I get some answers.

Offlist!
If an owner can own more than one team, you'll need to
introduce an associative table and change the structure
of the above a bit.
no, you'd need the associative table only if a team can be owned by more
than one owner
otherwise, steve, that structure is fine

Rudy,
You've been unusually quiet lately and coupled with the news that you had
quit Evolt, we were worried that you had left us!
I personally hope you continue to enlighten us with your wisdom.

I'm trying to query a SQL database from a .asp page. I'm using the
following connection string.
strConncompinv=Provider=SQLOLEDB.1;Password=hardinv;Persist Security
Info=True;User ID=hardin;Initial Catalog=INVENTORY;Data Source=LWMIS304
I'm not sure if this is correct. The part I'm not sure
