I'm sort of the opposite of you; after a layoff at a large shop where we were just starting to get into .NET, a job moved put me into the world of PHP and MySQL, where I've been for the last couple of years. Still getting used to the open-source idea after 10 years in Microsoft-land, doing custom in-house web based tool development for a company. I'm in Wichita, KS, USA.
