Hello, I want to build a user interface for some tasks in a ldap backend (eDirectory). Actually i am using the python ldap module within web2py. This is working, but i miss some features from the DAL. I was using web2py in some projects and was surprised how straight forward things can be implemented. Specially all the database stuff with the dal. Is there anyone who tried to extend the dal to support ldap as a backend database system ? This would be very helpful, if i could work with a ldap database backend system equally as a SQL based Database within web2py.
