[web2py] newline in Linktext

I like to have a link which has two lines of text. I tried someting like this: {{=A(XML(i.A.ShortTitle+\n+i.Title) ,_href=URL(r=request,f='Article',vars=dict(id=i.id)))}} but it doesn't work. Anyone knows what I need to do to get the desired result? --
