Re: [webkit-dev] build.webkit.org transition today at 3pm PDT

2017-03-22 Thread Lucas Forschler
I spoke with Carlos about this on IRC. For some reason, there were some old
index.html files stored in the parent folders. These files had not been updated
since Feb 6th.
Simply removing them seems to have solved the problem, as now the directory
listings appear to work as expected.

It seems the index for results for the GTK Release test bot in this
directory [1] is not longer updating.

The last available results seem to be from r211747 (6 Feb -- more than a
month ago)

The bot is running fine, and its uploading the results, as this example
log from today shows:

https://build.webkit.org/builders/GTK%20Linux%2064-bit%20Release%20%28Tests%29/builds/104/steps/MasterShellCommand/logs/stdio

Guessing the path from the above log, I can manually check that the
files are there:

https://build.webkit.org/results/GTK%20Linux%2064-bit%20Release%20%28Tests%29/r214279%20%28104%29/

https://build.webkit.org/results/GTK%20Linux%2064-bit%20Release%20%28Tests%29/r214279%20%28104%29.zip

But I can't see that listed on the index of [1]

Do you have any idea about what is wrong?

It seems this is also happening to more bots, like (at least):

https://build.webkit.org/results/Apple%20El%20Capitan%20Release%20WK2%20%28Tests%29/
https://build.webkit.org/results/Apple%20El%20Capitan%20Debug%20WK1%20%28Tests%29/
https://build.webkit.org/results/Apple%20Sierra%20Release%20WK2%20%28Tests%29/

Thanks

This should be working now (even though we have not yet transitioned
svn.webkit.org )
(I see an update from March 20th)

thanks anne for correcting me.

I'm getting well identified, automated "waves" of sync commits from google,
but I had left the mozilla ones pass me.

thanks young for the info on apple policy moving forward. That explain why
a lot of the messages today were about the Fetch API i guess ;-)

Yes, Mozilla and Chromium are doing two-side synchronization, with
different variants.
The current strategy here is doing export on a per-bug basis.

FWIW, Mozilla already periodically synchronizes with WPT. Think we
were first even.

yeah, I saw you flooding my wpt mailbox today :-)

that s great to have now chrome AND webkit doing it. I hope mozilla and the
other will follow, as discussed on the side of BlinkOn last year.

We' ll try to review everything as fast as possible.

cheers.

[webkit-dev] First stab at exporting tests to WPT

2017-03-22 Thread youenn fablet
Hi,

I started writing a script to automate PRs to W3C WPT Github repository at
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=169462.
One can author changes directly to
LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests and use the script to create a
branch on your GitHub WPT clone and also the PR from it on W3C WPT
repository.

If you are interested, please have a try and contact me for any feedback or
issue you may have.

I may also be interested in hearing about any change you may have wanted to
do on W3C tests to accommodate WebKit test environment (e.g. use of
internals API, runtime flags...).

Thanks
