Webkit development occurs on trunk and most communication is on IRC and in bugs.webkit.org. If you rely on email to see signs of activity I recommend subscribing to webkit-commits (or whatever that list is called). All it would have taken is the briefest look at webkit's svn or git

Halton was, as I understand it, simply making known the work he has done. He was NOT suggesting it be added to webkit proper, which is my point - his work adds ZERO overhead to webkit proper. He wasn't suggesting it be standardized or anything else of that nature. And it is cool and useful
