FYI, this has now shipped in Chrome (
https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/g/blink-dev/c/tEZ4RVsP1ms/m/TJpJhstGAgAJ)
with Google Search engineering working on adding the header to the site.
I'd still appreciate WebKit's view on this.

François Beaufort has landed an implementation () of
`Sec-CH-Prefers-Color-Scheme` in Chrome Canary (≥92.0.4514.0).

We have made a simple demo
(https://sec-ch-prefers-color-scheme.glitch.me/) available that
showcases the use case we want to enable.

The explainer now includes static screenshots
(https://github.com/tomayac/user-preference-media-features-headers/blob/main/README.md#demo-of-sec-ch-prefers-color-scheme)
of the demo's output in case you don't feel comfortable trying it in
Canary.
