Re: [libreoffice-website] website on mailing lists

Hi, Florian!

at the moment, the information on our mailing lists is rather
distributed. The master lists, i.e. those with all data inside,
are on

http://www.documentfoundation.org/contribution/#lists and
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Local_Mailing_Lists

Both pages are really well hidden. On the LibreOffice pages, a few
lists are mentioned,

My proposal would be: 1. Remove the mailing lists from the wiki. 2.
At the TDF website, *only* list the TDF-relevant lists, i.e.
everything with @documentfoundation.org. 3. Create a master listing
of all LibreOffice-related lists at libreoffice.org, including the
localized ones.

For NL-visitors it's easier to find only NL-relevant ML-entrys in the
list than searching the complete List for the right entries.

So the smarter way would be to have different master files for each NL
and the TDF-list. These could be combined in the right order to an
complete list on www.libreoffice.org. But they could also be single
included on the NL-sites.

From the Wiki it's then useful to link to *.libreoffice.org.

How to implement this into the CMS perhaps somebody else could say better.

4. Point from the TDF website to the LibO list wbesite. 5.
Vice-versa, point from the LibO list website to the TDF website.

That way, we

1. maintain TDF-related lists solely on the TDF website 2. maintain
LibO-related lists solely on the LibO website 3. each page can be
reached within a click from the other

What do you think? Anyone who wants to work on that?

These advantages remain but additional it's easier to find relevant
information on the fly.

Greetings,
Christian.

oh, sorry, I guess I expressed myself wrong. I indeed wanted to have the
master pages with all details at the LibO/TDF websites. The local
websites should only have their lists, but of course can contain links
to the master lists.

[libreoffice-website] Problem with TDF Wiki login system

2011-06-11 Thread Júlio Hoffimann
Hi all,

I'm trying to login into my account in the TDF Wiki page, the password i had
chosen seems not work anymore. I used the forget password system and the
Wiki sent me temporary ones. I cannot login into my account until change the
password for a new one. The problem is when i try to create the new
password, strange errors occurs like: you must be logged to access this
page, and yes, i refreshed the page many times, tried with different
temporary passwords and the result is the same.

What could i do to solve this, i woudn't like to create another account.

Best Regards,
Júlio.

P.S.: Please answer with copy.
