Hi,

I've managed successfully to install MirrorBrain, our download redirector, with our current database on a new server. To see if it performs as expected, I'd love to give it a try, before making the final switch. The rsync feeding for mirrors is still missing from the new server anyways, so both will run for a while in parallel.

One thing I'd like to test in particular is IPv6, since that still isn't reliably supported in the GeoIP location, and I want to see the impact, to decide whether I should disable IPv6 for the download site temporarily.

However, the current log parsing is tedious and I really would not like to mess up with it. I know that both Norbert and Kendy are working on new log parsers. Are those already ready, and could we combine log files from two servers with these, given I have to switch back and forth between the machines under some circumstances? Plus, do your log parsers work reliably with IPv6?

Thanks,
Florian
