[libreoffice-website] Objections to do wiki switch TODAY?
Hello, it's been a week since the test wiki went online, and so far, only minor issues were raised, which we were able to fix rather quick. I'd like to switch the test wiki to the live version, in other words, exchange the current wiki with the new version, *TODAY*. Are there any serious concerns or objections to that? I'm pushing because I want to get that item off the table, but especially because the old wiki might have security issues, due to an outdated and unsupported MediaWiki version. Hi, no serious concern here. I did not manage to configure the feed which has been asked by Rainer. But this a minor thing. Are there any serious concerns or objections to that? Yes. Before the EasyHacks feed is not replaced, I object to replacing the wiki. I don't know whether you did try to use the EasyHacks extension (the modified SimpleFeed one) in the new wiki or not. But wiki without the easyhacks feed is a nogo for me. Either adapt the new feed-extension you mentioned, or use the old one. ciao Christian -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to website+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/website/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

Hi, Christian Lohmaier wrote on 2012-10-08 13:40: Either adapt the new feed-extension you mentioned, or use the old one. I mailed that out already a week ago, but it seems nobody cared. I've now manually enabled that extension, but really ask someone to migrate to the new syntax, because I will eventually disable it. If the page is that important, it should be fairly easy to find a volunteer. ;-) Florian -- Florian Effenberger, Chairman of the Board (Vorstandsvorsitzender) Tel: +49 8341 99660880 | Mobile: +49 151 14424108 The Document Foundation, Zimmerstr. 69, 10117 Berlin, Germany Gemeinnützige rechtsfähige Stiftung des bürgerlichen Rechts Legal details: http://www.documentfoundation.org/imprint -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to website+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/website/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

It seems I misunderstand the mediawiki Manual or I am too stupid. The EasyHacks pages are important, But I think we could stand some days only with Open ... in Bugzilla, but I would prefer that we at least that and how that syntax will work, before you switch to the new syntax. Does anybody know a working example in any other Wiki? And does anybody know how to find all related Contents in our Wiki? Nevertheless, It would be fine if someone would find a more flexible solution for that Feed View, this obligatory EasyHack Text is an ugly blemish.
