To clarify, I really liked your design, but I was just a little unsure
whether the centre magazine widget really applies to the end user. I
misread Fedora magazine for Fedora planet. Fmag is a good source :)

If you did use the default about:home this would also help support
your upstream partner Mozilla who gains some revenue from search. As
far as I know Fedora does not generate any revenue for upstream while
distros like Ubuntu does.
Obviously that revenue is really important and helps Mozilla cover

+1. I totally agree that start.fpo should be replaced with something a
bit more modern and useful, but I don't think about:home is going to

My bad. Well if we decide to keep it, the current design is not adequate,
and no one has "the time/energy/will to think of / implement
anything better" Id be happy to try and modernize it.
