I was just in this situation when a family member was a patient and the
hospital had him write down the names of everyone who he would want to
know about him and his condition. Now I called a couple of times and I
don't know if they actually used it....!

A good HIPAA training framework for privacy and security is available on
the AHIMA website at www.ahima.org---look under the practice briefs. I'm
not aware of any available checklists that outline the training content
in detail.
There is no requirement for training on transactions.
