Acurite 02064 LeMaker Banana Pro (a20 arm, much like a Pi). Accurite usb device is not seen in lsusb after *cold* boot. Device must be unplugged/replugged in order to work. My solution was to put "bootdelay=5" in the uboot configuration, then, and only then is the device seen in the lsusb listing.
At this point, while we can see the device, weewx cannot communicate with it: May 17 09:20:17 bpi weewx[6913]: acurite: Failed attempt 8 of 10 to get LOOP data: [Errno 110] Operation timed out May 17 09:20:47 bpi weewx[6913]: acurite: Failed attempt 9 of 10 to get LOOP data: [Errno 5] Input/Output Error May 17 09:21:17 bpi weewx[6913]: acurite: Failed attempt 10 of 10 to get LOOP data: [Errno 5] Input/Output Error I tried usb resets on the device (logical) -- no change I tried a powered hub -- no change Again, an unplug/replug event is the only way to get it working again after a cold boot. subsequent warm boots also work. any hints? thanks! -craig
