My WeatherIP from Ventage plus 2 is defective. I import the current data.
Can I operate weewx without a station?
I have not found a way to set the weewx.conf so that there are no errors.

i have been tracking battery and signal values for 36 hours for my various
sensors hanging off a gw1000.
for wh41 and wh57 i expected to see values 0-5, but i have see other values.
wh41 has shown 15 quite often. wh57 has shown 255 once.
15 and 255 look suspiciously like bit masks.

I added the line to the belcherton skin.conf file with a value of 1, and a
value of 4. I restarted Weewx each time I made the change and allowed a
full run... but no change to the graph.

Yes. I had an issue with it when adding a rolling ave. The default value
was changed in 4.0 I think so it may or may not be what's happening.
